92 prelude cd changer HELP!!!

I just bought a 92 prelude si and it came with the stock stereo which has a 6 disc cd changer but the changer doesn't work it doesn't want to eject or get power to it... at first it just had 4 E's on the display so i checked all the wires and the wire that goes to the changer wasn't plugged in so i plugged it in and now nothing happens. I know it works to because the guy i bought it from put a aftermarket cd player in and it worked before that but that got stolen so im sure it still works but somethins wrong...???
