Another turning signal problem

Seems like suddenly there's been a rash of turn signal problems on the forum.
Well I've got another one. Every so often when I use the turn signal the turn signal won't flash. The daytime running lights are on but they don't flash to signal a turn. The cornering lamps also come on. This does not happen all the time but when it does happen both the left and right sides do not flash.
Thanks
Forgot to add that there is no ticking sound either when the turn signal doesn't work.

Yeah, that's the hazard/flasher switch going bad. When nothing happens, jiggle the hazard switch without pushing it in. Usually, the turn signal will come back on. It seems that on humid days it does it more often. Eventually, the switch may fail completely or you might get tired of jiggling it, so you'll need to replace it. Mine does the same thing, but only once or twice a month (if that even). The "jiggling" fixes it every time.
