Charging problem?

I have a 92 explorer. The battery light came on, and the guage shows that its not charging. My alterneter was tested bad, and the battery was tested good. I put a new alternater in it, and battery cables, and the battery light is still on, and the guage still shows no charge. I had the new alternater tested, and it tested good. It seems to be charging. I turned on the headlights, a/c, and rear defrost, and the extra load from the rear defrost, and the a/c didnt even dim my lights. Any suggestions?

Problem solved. Blown fuse for the battery guage. Must have arc'ed a wire while changing the alternater. Didnt know it had its own fuse.
