Anybody know what kind of cars these are? They are rusting in a farmers field.

I could be wrong but the first one looks like a Chevelle and the 2nd looks like a large Mopar. Again I could be wrong though.

Thanks, i've done a bit more research and I think the first is a 1972 chevelle, and the 2nd may be a 1971 charger.
Thanks again.

yeah, that 2nd one is a charger for sure. Are you planning on buying & restoring either of them?

Thanks. I might consider restoring one of them. I orignally went to look at a 1948 Morris Minor, and I spotted these sitting in the field.

actually i think that the first one resembles a 1970 Javelin
and the second on is a 1973 challenger
that is all just my opinion on what i think it looks like

Not to start a argument, but the first is a 70 or later Chevelle, i had one exactly like it, it was a 70. A 69 doesnt have that body style.Notice the front end..
Not saying the year couldnt be different, i dont know how long they kept that style.
As for the second car, again, i had 2 of those, both 71's. its a Dodge Charger, 71 or later
pics: so post is old, so what...

Here is my two-cents on this thread.
The first picture is a Chevrolet Chevelle. Since I am not a Chevy expert, it appears to me to be 1970 to 1972. Not sure which year, though.
The second picture is a 1972 Dodge Charger. The quarter window design on this car was used only in 1971 and 1972 on the Charger. The 1971 Charger had side marker lights moulded into the fenders. The 1972 Charger had rectangular side markers that appeared to be surface mounted on the fenders. This one is clearly a 1972 Charger. I used to own a 1971 Charger.
