So I took the front Nissan Emblem off of my spec v and the black on my grill is starting to fade a bit. What is best type of paint to use so that the paint won't rain off or fade quick? I don't want it to be glossy, I just pretty much want the same paint that came on the car.

So I was dumb and went to lowes to get paint yesturday not thinking about the fact that they wouldn't have what I wanted... I'm assuming I can get this paint at an auto parts store? Is it just regular automotive paint?

Yeah I know. I custom fabricate for the largest plastic distributor in the U.S., Cope Plastics, based out of my home town. Who are you trying to educate about plastic? haha :P . It's a metal grill, hopefully it will be fine. If not it's back to the drawing board.

just make sure u do the right prep work and it should last. clean it with a liquore o w/e i cant spell, to get rid of all the dirt and oils and such. make it rough so the primer will stick to it well. then just flat black paint it and clear coat. thats basically it.

I have a sand blaster at work, think that would help?
