finally got my hand on a digital cam. This is only my 2nd time using this cam so some pics might be a little blurry and I haven't attempted any outdoor shots just yet. Let me know what you think.

WHOA! Nice collection of projects you have! Keep up the good work!
Quick question: what shade of yellow did you use for the civics? It kinda looks better than the Chrome Yellow I've been using...

xenokryst, the yellow is a custom mix automotive lacquer. I only have one yellow and the evo 5 is painted with the same paint. Except the two civics are painted over a white base (a must for yellow paints I think)
daggerlee, that ferrari was probably the worst fujimi kit I ever made. The parts don't fit very well especially the windows. It looks okay when finished though I'll have more pics when I actually finish the entire thing.
Since a popular topic now are the panel lines, I decided to try something new with the ferrari and used a soft lead pencil. I think it turned out pretty good.
btw, thanks for all the comments everyone!

wow. That's a great collection of models. yea i know i sound repetitive. I have a question though, the spoon civic has the 99-00 bumper on it. from what i've seen, the kit that fujimi sells has the 96-98 bumper. did you do that yourself or am i just wrong? I want to convert my fujimi sir-II into a 99 bumper. Thanks
bri g

tenzoracer, fujimi actually produced both a the ek4 and ek9 bumpers. The sirII only comes with the 96-98 bumpers though. if you want the ones with the 99-00 bumpers, you have to get the civic type-r Late Model or the spoon civic model. The conversion shouldn't be too hard though, just a lot of putty work.

Hey Bri-
Do any of those Civics (Spoon hatch, especially) include the engine bay/opening hood, or are they all curbside?
Thanks

mdaniels, all the civic models are curbside but I'm planning on installing the revell ITR engine in the EG hatchback and the Type-R conversion

Thanks for the info. I guess the Revell Tuner kits (due in December) are going to be the first Civics with engines then...
I am thinking about the same thing. What is your approach going to be? Both of these models are enroute to me by mail and I haven't seen them yet. Are you going to use the underhood molded detailing from the ITR or is there anything under the hood of the EG model that might work?
Matt

matt, I wish I can get my hand on those revell civics but we don't get much american brands (amt, revell) over here. Regarding the underhood details, I'm planning to build my own engine bay (with epoxy putty probably) since I'm going to build the revell ITR still so don't want to waste the engine bay. I'm making resin copies of the engine though so I wouldn't have to buy so many kits just for the engine! Goodluck on your project, it's going to be a lot of work but nice when it's completed :)
