starting issue

Hey, i have a 91 formula converted over to carb. i just replaced the head gaskets an put it all back together again. my problem is that it won't start. the carb just farts and pops and even caught fire lol.. i'm pretty sure the timing and firing order are correct. what should i do now?

is your carb adjusted correctly? when you say your carb just farts and pop do you mean like the car turns over fires and then dies? sorry to help you i need to know a little more.

but on another note... i had the same problem with my 79 trans am and it was just the spark plugs whens the last time you replaced them?
