1992 se.. it started hesitating when it was kicked down on freeway today at 70 mph.. and at 1-50 mph it wasnt doing it... but now its doing it at all speeds.. it almost like when your fuel is low and you take a corner and accelerate how it hesitates due to lack of fuel no check engine light comes on i recently changed plugs, oil ,pcv, air filter and, fuel filter.. like 300 miles ago.. any help will be appreciated.. oh yeh it did it like a week ago when it was warm out i dont no if temp can play a part in it.... and if you put accelrator to floor motor rpms dont even go up it acts like its goig to stall...
I just put a scanner on it and codes 22 throttle position sensor- low voltage
38 brake switch circut
36 ? i dont know??
And scanner said trans shift problem PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

no suggestions???
Check fuel pressure, especially under load, if low replace fuel filter and recheck. Sounds like a bad tps, to be sure a graphing scanner is called for here or take a shot and replace it. Post the trans codes, which can be caused by a tps.

Recheck fp, as I said. The code said it was low?

I agree with Max, the TPS could trip the trans codes (and the others for that matter). Code 36 is MAF burn-off circuit (which I've never heard of). If you haven't checked fuel pressure (again, as Max suggested) or changed the TPS, until you do, we can't help you any further.

Did you check your fuel pump pressure?
Sounds like you have a bad pump!!!!

it only messes up when vechile is at operating temp for about 1/2 hour.. can a fuel pump do that and work intermittenly?

Coils can fail at operating temps, causing stuttering and stalling. I would run the engine and remove the spark plug boot off each coil with a pair of INSULATED pliars. (Do this in total darkness, if possible) Look for a spark when you have the plug boot over the terminal(s) of each coil. If no spark or an erratic spark, then replace that coil.
You could try this after the engine (and coils) have heated up a bit to simulate operating temps.
When bad, Crank sensors tend to fail at operating temps as well. Neither crank nor coil give off codes either, but I suppose their effects could trip other codes.
Do a forum search under Buick LeSabre and Olds 88 (same engine) as well as here and you should find plenty more information as both of these components are common to go south.
Did you properly set the TPS? It has to be set w/in a certain voltage to work properly...again, a forum search over in the lesabre and 88 forums should yield results if you cant find them here.

You said you replaced your plugs but I didn't see any plug WIRES. I had a 91 Olds that did this and it ended up being a plug wire. I had gotten new ones about a month before so I thought for sure it wasn't it. One went bad in just that time.
My Mechanic friend took a tester and put it at each end of the wires. They all had about the same except one. I replaced it and it ran good.
Might not be it but I had a problem and it was it for me.
Chris.
