Interesting article about GPS/online mapping

I thought I'd share this article because of a friend of mine from college wrote it. It's actually pretty interesting because it shows how this company TeleAtlas provides online maps for sites like Google and GPS companies. Its crazy that people actually drive around to create the maps.
