New Transmission - New problem

I got a new noise and a new vibration. The vibration is very apparent at start up. While parked, revving the engine causes it to vibrate. You can feel it before the car is in gear.

This problem that occured right after the trans was installed. But i don't think it is the transmission that is the problem. The transmission seems to be working fine.

Anyone ever have this problem? Could the mechanic have missed something when he had the trans and clutch out?

Can you take any guesses before i go back to the mechanic?

a bad motor mount?

Or could this be several different things and someone is just going to have to work on it? Should i consider hiring a pshycic? Do i need to pay someone to pull out the trans and clutch to look? (basically, do i need to pay someone to pull everything out agian, for the second time this week?)

Please help. I welcome any suggestions and ideas. Thanks

it sounds like a mount, either broke or installed wrong

Thanks Tex.

[How hard is it to fix a motor mount? He doesn't have to take out the entire motor, does he?]

Ooops, sorry, please ignore that last question. I can answer that question by reading chapter two of the Haynes manual. Not a major job.

he shouldnt have to if it is just one mount. look over them to make sure they look clean and not cracked anywhere

Sincere gratitude to all on this forum who've offered suggestions and opinions.

While going back and forth between mechanics i looked at the bolts on the mount close to the timing belt. One nut was so loose that i could turn it with my hand.

Again, thanks to everyone.
