Brakes.

I've recently purchased some new rims. Thing is, I don't want these nice rims to be in front of something rusty and brown looking. Looks like the brakes. Basically, is there any special precaution or certain paint/primer/etc that must be used in order to give those brakes that show car look?

Is it the rotors that look rusty or the caliper? How about the drums in the back? Im not sure how safe putting certain chemicals on your brakes, better off just getting nice new shiny rotors and maybe drums, why not make em look better and get new brakes in the process?

I got "Brembo" drilled and slotted rotors off eBay for $140, and I just spray painted my calipers and drums with caliper paint from Autozone for like $5 a can and they turned out looking really good and brand new. If you get new rotors tho, you should get new brake pads too, if they're not mostly new, they're like $20-$40. Definitely worth it, new brakes for safety and a cheap way to make a nice little modification.:sunglasse

Ah yes. What you have painted blue was my general intention. Just wanted it to overall look nice when the new rims get put on.
