My car was broken into....

I think I may have said something about this before but I'm not sure.

Anyway my car was broken into...and the deusche bag that tried to steal the stereo didn't steal it..because he/she/it tried to rip the unit out without unscrewing any screws? He got the faceplate though..even though he took that off wrong too so the metal piece that conducts the electricity for it is broken and he can't use it.

Anyway since he was trying to steal it...he just tugged on it and tugged on it, so the metal frame thing that you screw the cd player into is all bent up and fu**** up. Does anyone have one they would be able to sell me from their car they are throwing away??? If that part description doesn't make any sense, I will take some pictures. It would be great help because I tried to bend it back...but it's not workin.:rolleyes:

Is that frame even removable? I might have one laying around somewhere or I could probably pull one out of my parts car. I'll let you know tomorrow.

Are you just talking about the metal bracket thing that goes over the body of the head unit that has the little prongs that get bent back so it can't be stolen (or atleast harder to steal :lol: )?
