gs-r burnin oil!!

okay...ive changed my oil twice now and both times i run out of oil about 1500 miles before the next change. like no oil showing on the dip stick what so ever! so bad that once v-tec was throwing a code cause it wasnt gettin any oil! some people said they have seen me burnin a lil bit of blue smoke..what could be my problem? my best guess is piston rings..but i always think of the worse case senario... any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks... by the way its a 98 gs-r with only 86K miles.

well they say vtec burns oil but damn! lol

could be a bad head gasket, run a compression check and post back with the results

also, when you say no oil on the dip stick, are checking when the motor is cold or hot?
