I don't even know what to think...I mean it sounds almost too good to be true. I want to see some vids of it in action in a car, I'll be more impressed then.

its amazing, but kinda like one of those too good to be true things. Ill beleive it when i actually see them being used. And even at that, if this engine does work as well as they say, and takes over the market, auto enthusiast and our hobby will change drastically, very drastically.

Theres also another engine getting some publicity made by Revetec thats suppose to make 3 times the power of a regular engine of the same displacement.
Here's some vids : http://www.revetec.com/?q=taxonomy/term/26
And this is how it works : http://www.revetec.com/?q=taxonomy/term/42

big picture red...
Oil companies. Imagine how much oil we use as a country on just oil changes.
every 3000 miles for every car (unless you are some white trash that doesn't do it until like 6000 miles because you think you can make it last longer...) but nonetheless. it's a great idea but with the economics of the world right now with oil being such a superpower... unless we get over our addiction to oil, there's no way any manufacturer would pick it up.

besides auto enthusiasts, no one i know changes their oil every 3k miles, it is more like "i don't kno, my dad does that stuff" or " so that is why there is smoke coming out the exhaust" or "i haven't changed my oil since i've had the car (1 and 1/2 years)"
i don't think oil companies will take as big of a hit as you may think they will.

LOL. This thread makes me laugh now. I think oil companies may take a hit. But they pull in so much that I dont think this would make much of a dent in comparison to their earnings now.

If we start switching over to cars with 150mpg capabilities, they'll just increase the price of gasoline... they'll say "hey, you're not using as much... so stfu."

Start stockpiling gas lol. Say you buy 100 gallons of gas now. Thats roughly $350. Since 15k is the average number of miles for someone in a year to drive then that gas would last you all year lol.
Imagine how ridiculously fast cars could become lol. Imagine adding turbos, and making twice as much power :naughty:
Oh yeah, and heres a good video that describes the engine through a computer model. Really amazing if this technology comes to the public.
HOW IT WORKS!
