venture dying out

my daughter has a 97 venture.the engine has been reciently replaced and when the van makes a hard turn either left or right, the van will start to hesitate and sometimes dies out. i checked the vacumn and the throttle position which checks out ok.does antbody have any other possible solutions to this??? i'm thinking possible alt or motor mounts.the alt does make a noise like it's going to go out soon.this is driving me crazy and i don't want to take it back to the meacanic because he's 2 hours away...please help!!!!!

Check the connector under the drivers side by the back of the drivers door. I had the connector start doing this when its going bad. Unplug it and see if it has corrossion or water in it.
