whats the differences

I ordered my Sparco strutbrace in chrome today and it will arive next week :D

But I was just wondering are there any real BIG differences between all
the brands of strutbraces available
Like Neuspeed, Tenzo R, Sparco, etc.
Does quality make a big difference between brands???


O yeah TCC has some new items in their stock projector headligths for the 4th Gen Civics
If anybody got any better pics of them please post them, so I can see what they will look like on a 4th gen.

p.s. I guess everybody is on holiday, because its been really quiet inhere the last few days

i dont really think that their is alot of difference. after all they are all pretty much identical, and have nothing on them that could go particularly wrong.

OK I posted this also in the How To/Walkthrough section but got no answer so you might be helpfull

When I install the strutbrace, is there anything I should look out for?
Things that could go wrong or something.
Should I put the car on a jack so there is no pressure on the front wheels when installing the strutbrace ??

2 b honest im probably not the best person to ask here, but ill tell you what i know:

there isnt really much that i know of to watch out for as its a fairly simple procedure. so long as you follow the instructions and make sure everything is on properly you shouldnt have any problems.
and i would always jack the car up when i work on the suspensions or wheels

As for the strutbraces, I don't think there is much difference I only know that the Spoon brace is like twice a thick as the other brands :)

The main difference is that some are adjustable and some are not. IMO strutbraces have to be stiff and the ones that are adjustable have a "weak" link. It will not make much difference (or any at all) it's just something I have in my head so I'm getting a non-adjustable brace :)

btw, those projectors look cool but the sidelights look a little 'white' I think. It would be nice if they also made projector 'side-lights' :)

There's no need to jack up your car for putting on the strutbrace, it will work perfectly fine on the ground. :)

It might seem like a strange question, but I dont want to get suprised that my wheels might fall off or something :D

Nope, it's about the easiest thing you'll ever mod on your car, except maybe a shift-knob or furry dice :silly: Just make sure you have enough clearance between the engine and the bar.
