What engine and what tranny do you have in there? I have an S1 on mine and I think that I'd be bouncing off the rev limiter if I were to hit 220km/h. My car revs at around 4900-5000 at 130 km/h. (5th gear)

I'm too lazy to work out what the speed at 8000rpm is with those ratios. BTW Emil, your top speed is defined by the gearbox @ rpm, not by the power your engine puts out. The engine gets you there, the gearbox defines the speed you get to.

Now I don't understand what you wanna say to me Setanta.The wheel diametre is equal to stock and something else if you assome that my km/h meter is laying it's not cause I can test it everyday and I did test it and it works right...I can video that too for you if that what I've put on is not good enough proof for you...

I was just wondering what it would be in mph. Cuz that sounds fast, and I'm sure it is. But i was just wondering what the difference is.

Setanta I can't belive that you are saying that our b16a are slower than yours, that I tell you something in here we get all the powerfull stuff, the only integra that you could get here is 98' up and just TYPE R 190HP, then another car ACCORD TYPE R that has I think about 210 HP, then we also have new civic TYPE R 200HP we are now just waiting to get RSX TYPE R only and that'll be soon...We get all the car from England(stronger engines, all b16a.typeRs) as I know and they are directly from Japan so don't say that in Japan made b16a is slower than yours...

#1 I already apologised for not checking the final drive ratio on a ZC
#2 My EF9 has 10 bhp over the EDM EE VT. Likewise the JDM EG has 170bhp compared to the Euro EG VT's 160. Aussie EK VTiR's have 160bhp too.
#3 Aussie Civics with the B16A are built in Japan to Aussie spec. The EG (Hybrids) and EK (VTiR) are damn quick, so quick that even with a weight penalty they are as fast as my JDM EF. The engines are often detuned for Europe due to shit fuel (sorry, but it's true - they detune them to a lesser extent for our market too as our fuel quality doesn't match Japan's).
Please re-read everything that I have written, then rethink your little dummy spit about someone questioning your car. Initially in the other thread I simply asked your final drive ratio to hit 210 in 4th. No response. Then you post some stuff about how you can smoke cars with 160bhp/280bhp. Then we get a clarification about how you can get 280bhp cars in your country - fine, simple misinterpretation. Interestingly enough, others questioned this too but you seem to have fixated on me.
Strangely enough, I haven't criticised your car once - simply the idea of an ECU making a car develop more power to the number of 30bhp to out gun a 160bhp car. Logically, either your car is making huge power with this mod or the other car is running like a P.O.S.

It's aD16A9 engine but everytime I mention that engine to Americans(I hope that Isaid that right) they all say it to me that that is ZC engine so that's why I said it's a ZC engine, but I'm still saying to everyone that it's a D16A9(130HP)engine if anyone ask me...

hey i have a DOHC ZC (D16A9) with a 89integra ecu (PG7) and a DX 5speed tranny and my 4th gear at redline will also do about 110-120mph if i shift it right in 4th gear its a pretty fast engine and the gears in the dx tranny and LONG and the ZC pulls them well
BTW in UK the MOST ZC's have ZC on the block like we DO but they say D16A8/9 (depending on model EE K KG ect...) they say the block # and the D16A8/9 and some of them say D16A6/7 (SOHC ZC) but some say it on the block in the UK since ZC is the jap designation NOT the D16A8/9 thats a UK and possibly aussie.. hope that clears up the confusion about emil engine....

Dude...a ZC is a D-series motor.. They stamp ZC on the block, but the block is basically the same as a US Si motor (d16a6) - the head and intake manifold is for sure different, making the 20+ HP difference. Dude...a ZC is a D-series motor.. They stamp ZC on the block, but the block is basically the same as a US Si motor (d16a6) - the head and intake manifold is for sure different, making the 20+ HP difference. The last drag I had with that engine was against the 4th gen VTEC civic (150HP) I must admit that even if they mesured me 163HP I had problems with that civic :eek: cause my rpm limit was somewhere arround 8000rpm and his is 8400-8500rpm so that is alot, it was very hard to keep up with it (civic VTEC) cause when I shift in next gear he had 500rpm left so he could change gear later and there I lost a lot...
So we were basiclly side by side till the end of drag!!!
But with my new engine and all the mods I'm planing to do I hope that I'll smoke even ITR and later with some turbo help even S2000, big plans for my next three years :D , but till the end of this year I'll put in tunned B16(enough to smoke ITR) and then save money for DRAG turbo :p

Alright setanta, you know alot about this stuff but, ok gear ratio's on the tranny are calculated using mathematical formulas. The engine revolutions are measured at the crank, crank's connected to the flywheel, clutch contacts the flywheel, is there some way that there it some revloutions lost there in the change from the size of the crank to the size of the flywheel, ok i think I'm wrong nevermind.

Ummm... well actually, I just pulled the figures straight from Honda's website instead and then applied final drive ratios to it. Easier than trying to use much else - but if you look at my gear top speeds and compare 'em to emils plus against VTiR 'tegs, other Civics etc... you'll see I'm right :finger: :devil:

Shit it almost past one year since I blew my engine...and I still didn't fully build my B16A2 :0(
I hope that next month it'll be in car and runin with full power cause this month the engine is going to be build and then the hardest part of them all wireing it...I'l prolly put the 6th gen VTI tacho in cause the one that I have now has cable speedo and the new one has electronic one...
So when I'll put my new monster in I'll post new video so we'll see if there is any improve in times and speed...

NOP I didn't bring it up cause of you...
We have some missunderstandings and that is forgotten I just watched a video and check that post again and it was like a year ago(last post) and if all it would go by my plans I would be driving around with my civic...
