STRUT Mount Problem

Just got word from the dealer that i need new Strut mounts ($521 + allignment), as they are clunking. It is having other warranty issues looked at..like the whole van is falling apart. I have 115,000km and have extended warranty to 120,000kms. GM says they will not cover strut mounts? anyone know how i can fight this? or anything i can do, except trade it!!! Sad that i would have to replace struts at 115K. My sunbird had 285K and never changed them...
