what the right oil pressure

i have a 91 beretta gtz with the frist design quad four. At adle the motor is pumping out close to 80 pound of pressure . i have recently replaced the timing chain tensoner and shoe. i beleive my oil pump is bad cause of what my guage it reading. well someone let me know what theres is on there own car. thanks eric

The oil pressure for your car is as follows - 900 rpm - 15psi, 2000 rpm - 30 psi. These came from the 91 GM service manual. Possible your sensor is bad.
