i have a 2003 srt-4 and i took it to the garage to have limited slip and a ACT clutch put in, when i got it back, at certain times my oil light would come on and stay on for 10 minutes or so, i shut it off and turn the car back on and the oil light wouldn't even come on when the car was first turned on. does anyone have any suggestions as to why this could be doing this? im going to a car show in the beginning of July and i have to drive quite a ways and i dont want to break down.

Not sure. They may have hit the sensor when doing the work or it has come a little loose. Without having an actual oil gauge it's hard to say. I would take it right back to the dealer PRONTO though.

i have taken it to the dodge dealer in town and also other dealers, the dodge dealer replaced the sending unit, this didn't fix the problem and they do not know what else could be causing the problem. i actually got into a few arguments with them and they hung up the phone on me. i want to take it to a five star dealership, but i have to drive about 45 minutes to the closest one and i don't want to make the trip without knowing what is wrong with my car. i talked to a mechanic on the phone and they said that since my car sat in a garage for the winter sludge may have built up in the oil causing the problem, but i don't understand why it only happened after i got the limited slip and the new clutch put in. also i was told it may be the stage 2 computer. any suggestions?
