2000 T&C 3.8L intermittent EGR code

Posting for a friend who has no drivability issues, but gets the check engine light and an EGR code now and again. Clean the EGR? I'll search now.

Found a good link describing the part and ways for it to crap out. Cheap replacement for a new EGR valve, etc., and gasket. Less than $100.
