Power sliding door

My power sliding door works great with the door handles,
but when I use any buttons to open it, it doesn't work..
Buttons will close it and reopen it (if it's not latched)
I think I know the reason, but I need to get inside the door without breaking anything to make sure..
Does anyone know how to take the door panels off of a 2000 Venture Wb power sliding door
the correct way? Including the doorhandle..

Just so everyone knows, I did the reinitalization, diagnostics(got a 2-3), cleaned the brassplates and pins and checked the wires under the carpet..
What I think is happening is with the '2' latches on the power door.. When I operate the door manually, the front latch works when I pull the inside handle about one inch, but the other latch in the rear of the door doesn't react until I pull the handle almost all of the way, I checked this with the door open after I closed both latches manually..
Any other ideas are greatly appreciated, thanks

My 97 venture had a recall for a needed adjustment to the closing mechanism for the passenger side power door. SHortly thereafter, the module in the back went out, dealer wants $200 for the part and $200 for labor. Since operating by hand. Make sure the brass contact pins and plate are clean as well. Check the fuse if any for those buttons.
