it's a little odd how she slides off to the right with such precise timing. if one of those hit your tou head would go straight down.

Of couse it looks staged, she reading news :D. how could that be staged tho? listen to the light hit.. sounds like a metal light. And if you look, she DOES get hit directly in the head. nobody really just falls straight down.. wheres she gonna go? she sitting in a chair. Her (most likely unconscious)body took the quickest path to the ground; sideways

No way. Those lights are extremely heavy and extremely hot, she would go straight down, as in her bones would shatter from the impact.

yep. in my old school i worked with stage lighting a few times. you're looking at 10-15lb for those, maybe even more. some of the stuff i worked with needed winching up, it just looks staged to me. you can see the safety cabe and loop are intact. and they're made of steel cabling, or chain. there can't be a new recording place in the world that wouldn't use the proper safety measures on equipment directly above the reporters. we used steel cable rated to hold 400lb for the lights weighing about 80lb, and they weren't less than 5 yards from people when in use.

I'm pretty sure she starts to move sideways before the light hits her. I've worked with stage lighting alot and I'm almost positive that's fake.

Well if it sounds like a metal light, it must be one.... no such thing as sound effects
