Head unit swap fair trade?

My friend has a pioneer DEH6700MP that he doesn't want and wants to swap for another headunit. He told me that he would trade for mine. I have a pioneer DEH1300. The 6700 offers soo many more options and has a remote and the connection for other pioneer products which is a plus because I have a XM subscription and my unit doesn't have the car adapter. So would it be a good trade for me to trade my headunit and 30 or 40 for his?

I'd say go for it although why he'd want to downgrade his hu is beyond me but as long as it works fine jump on it.
