Is it true that Armor all causes your dash to crack over time?

Over time it will depending on the material used and how much it sits in the sun. I don't think it would affect our cars because the dash material is so stretchy (kind of like rubber) but it will take a toll to the hard plastic dashes, over a period of a ~8-10 years of course.

The person that told me that Armor all cracks dashes, he drove a really old truck that it did it to. Also a buddy of mine told me it happened to his car but he also has a '70 Mustang.

Congrats. Some dashs crack because of over torqueing of bolts at the factory. About 80% of all Cavaliers I have ever seen have a crack in the hard plastic piece right next to the window, mine does and it doesnt know what armor all is.

That sucks you would think that there would be a recall on those parts because that shouldn't happen. Is there any Aftermarkey parts you can buy to replace the cracked piece your talking about with?
