I am paying 740 dollars to replace the factory exhaust on my 1993 Infiniti G20...what do the regular factory replacements alone cost? Should it really be 740 to have it done?

Absolute rip-off! You could have a custom cat-back exhaust bent at a local muffler shop for $350 or less, installed!!
Is this the entire exhaust from engine back, from the cat-back, or just the rear section?

That's way too mucho denero!!! You could get a Greddy MX cat back for
around $550 including shipping & handling / 3days delivery. Or you could get yourself a remus muffler for $350.00 @ nopi.com. Right now..., it's getting tough to get the Greddy MX. I just ordered it at eautoworks and they're out of stock and back order from Greddy. I'm still looking around right now. I really need it because my muffler is going down anytime soon :(
Brandon..., how do you like your magnaflow??? I'm looking for other alternatives to if in case Greddy would take long to make them. Is Remus worth the money?
Thanks ;)

I personally love the Magnaflow Stainless. It is the longest possible length you can fit under there and still use all the factory hangers. 18" with a 5x8 diameter and overall length of 24", and has a 2.25" in/out. I put a 3" stainless tip on it as well. Looks real nice. Sounds deep until your at WOT.
I orig. had a Borla Turbo. Gotta "LOVE" those mufflers. Only problem was it was way to loud for daily driving and droned on the freeway. I must be getting old. that's what happens when you become part of the 30 somethings, are married and have a kid. Hehe!
Dynomax makes some great ones too! But the Magnaflow was a better price and I like the dimensions of it much better.
I purchased mine at www.bigexhaust.com. Was the cheapest place I could find them online or locally.
I have 2.25" stainless custom piping, a Thrush 25" Magna 2 1/4" in/out Glasspack Muffler #24201 for the resonator and the Maganflow SS 2.25" in/out muffler #14255 with a APC # 106055 3" stainless tip. Cost less then $300 for all of it.

I've always gotten good prices from Tom Novak at Infiniti of Lisle ([email protected] or 800/942-1887 #3) who I found at Yahoo's G20 board. He offers "club" pricing. Good luck, Wardzone
