Hello all,
I recently purchased this transkit, then I decided to show you my kit review.
First, a few words about my purchase: Discontinued in Japan, I was pleased to find it at www.dominomodel.be when looking for something else.
I really highly recommend this store ! :grinyes: I've been purchasing there for years, I have always been satisfied, either service or delivery delay are fine, you're welcomed by a very kind team answering emails as soon as possible. You may find almost everything you would look for, for reasonable prices. A very good place where to buy models ! :grinyes:
The car: the Mitsubishi Lancer WRC 2005 entered the world championship at the 2005 Monte Carlo rally (Panizzi finished 3rd overall) and was driven by several pilots all the season, but most regular drivers were Rovanpera, Panizzi and Galli.
the Transkit: it comes in the usual S27 box:

the decals: a firts A4 sheet for the whole car and MC version, and the deutschland rallye addition sheet. very nice decals, letter well reproduced. Seems complete after first sight, but need precise examination.

The PE parts:
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e14/phil67c/Mitsubishi%20Lancer%20WRC%202005/Lancer-2005_003.jpg
The metal parts: beautifull rims and seats !

The clear parts:

building instructions and informations to modify Tamiya original parts:

http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e14/phil67c/Mitsubishi%20Lancer%20WRC%202005/Lancer-2005_007c.jpg
Instructions to modify rear wheels arches: They are not very accurate ! the sharp line must start from the bottom of the car !
on the WRC there isn't any frame before wheel arch and rear door; it's needed to sharp the frame, but the frame starts from the bottom, not above the side spoiler as shown in the instructions.

Clear paper sheet: needed to replace tamiya rear window:
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e14/phil67c/Mitsubishi%20Lancer%20WRC%202005/Lancer-2005_010.jpg
I need to examin the TK in details, but it seems very nice and this is the only way to build the Lancer WRC 2005.
I may chose to build the Galli german version, as I have many pics of the car, at service and during the rally.
Thanks for reading
Bye

I didn't know there was a "Deutschland rallye" version as well? I got mine from domino.be a while ago, but it's the Monaco version. Bummer, as I went to the German rally and would have liked to build that version :(

I suppose it's just been released once more, and this time it's with the Deutschland version !
I paid 70 euros for this TK. So almost egal to Japan. :naughty:
