Cigarette Lighter Replacement

Anyone know how to remove the cigarette lighter from the ashtray unit. It seems that either way you try and remove it there is a rim that will catch the frame. Any help would be appreciated.

on my caprice are no cables to cigarette lighter outlet. If you have them useless, you should put them to envelope and send it to me ;)
