Gas tank

im looking at a new z24 cav, the only thing is the gas gauge is broken, i still have my other cav sitting in my garage with no engine in it, is it possible to fix the gauge, my dad thinks the gauge can be fixed but its a huge job, what if i take the gas tank off the other cav and pout in on the nw one???:shakehead

Not all those sender units/fuel pumps interchange.Check with a dealer to see if the two will swap identically.

on my cavy i have the same problem with my gauge. it dont work. not sure how to go about fixing it though. i just go by my miles everytime i fill up.
