Big Screen Died

We've have a Hitatchi HD big screen for about 5 years now and it started to get some blue color shift outlining everything on the monitor that would come and go. Now, we turned it on today and it was working fine and suddenly poof it belly up...no picture or sounds from the speakers. The only thing it does now is make a sound inside that kind of sounds like a bat squeaking. Do you think its worth the fix and if so do you know what needs to be fixed?

Trash it.....No i'd get it looked at because as far as circuits go, it could be a few resistors screwing stuff up.
