Actually he has the ED chassis code. EF is the JDM version which is EF8 for CRX's and EF9 for Civics in Japan where they put the b16a's in them. The chassis code is in the vin number. it is the 4rth and 5th vin numbers. ex. JHM(ED) the 4rth and 5th digits are the chassis code. Its EF when you do the b16a swap into either civic or CRX.
