well a friend of mine owns 3 1980-1983 corollas. all automatics :banghead:
and he drives one of them daily and is really wanting to get some more power out of it (it cant spin the damn tires by itself):shakehead
im thinking maybe a chevy 4.3 swap (fairly good fuel economy still but lots more power) but is there a kit or anything out there to do it?
(maybe an old oldsmobile iron duke 2.5L? they run for ever and i havent had a problem with the one in my ciera.)
are there any kits or anything out there?

or you can whip the shit out of all those motors with the 3T that(anyone before 83) has. theres guys fuel injecting, turbocharging, building all motor, 3T's . the worlds fastest 3T pulled in a 7.0 quarter mile time. its one of the baddest botches ever invented. you dont need to swap everything. all ive got on mine is a weber carb and a header and i keep up with GSR integras with a 300000+ motor shit get some webers(sidedrafts a header and cam and some head work and mmaybe high comp pistons and low 13's are easy
