electrical bugs on 2002

gotta quad cab and noticed the lamp out light coming on and off. I thought I had a short or bad bulb on the turn signals but as I kept an eye on when the light come on and off I think it's something different. If the last number on the odometer is a 1,4,7,or 9 the light is off. All others it comes on. Is it sensing a led in the numbers thats burnt out? My other issue is the blinkers. Hasn't happened in about 6 months but here it is....hit left turn signal and the right comes on, hit the right and left comes on....sometimes nothing happens at all unless I fudge w/ the trim. Sounds like a short in the tilt assy. I've seen other 02 and newer dodges on the road turning one direction and the blinker is in the other direction. Kinda scary if your not aware of it.

similar thing happened on my 02 quadcab - lamp out indicator is on on the readout. not sure what the deal is tho...
