getting fluid into a dry torque converter

Well, I forgot to put fluid in the tc before I bolted up the transmission. Is there a way to get some in there without unbolting it again? Or should I just say what the heck and pull it? Thanks...

There usually is enough in there from testing, I assume they test them before shipping, anyway filler' up and go.

Well hope everything worked out ok for you. Everything I've read said to put at least a quart in the TC before install, which is what I did when I rebuilt my 700R4. My new TC might have been "damp" inside, but not enough to drip.

Well, I did start it and try to drive it, but it wouldn't shift into gear at all. I guess without the tc spinning the pump it doesn't have pressure to shift. I was just wondering if there's a way to unhook a cooler line or something and pump fluid in. I guess I could tow it to a trans shop and have them "power flush" but it has new fluid and filter already...

Have you checked your trans fluid level with the engine warm and idling?
The torque convertor holds, I forget exactly, like 3 -4 quarts. You might just be low on fluid.
