Aight so im driving temp gauge starts to rise. i get home check the coolant but when doing so, the inside of the coolant cap gets stuck inside, so thinking thats the problem i eventually get it out goto the junk yard n get a new one. put that on with new coolant, start driving again n it happens again. i get home again n now i have no coolant, it seems to be boiling out of the overflow valve. so now im clueless n need help so give me your thoughts thanks!

A. Stop going to junk yards for caps, they are cheap at autozone.
B. How old is your thermy?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the resevoir cap has a built in spring-thermostat so that if overheating occurs it will open up and let out overflow. That would mean the cap is working the way its supposed to. If its coming out of the overflow, then your thermostat is probably gone stupid.
