Hi I have a 95 honda passport 3.2L v6. The compresser locked up the other day, so i bought a used one from a local salvage yard. The mechanic that is going to put it in for me hasn't worked on many foreign cars or trucks. He suggested that we would need to change the AC filter when we replace the compressor, but wasn't sure if it was built into something or by itself. So my question is, where is the AC filter and is there one on this vehicle?

It's called a receiver or drier. You can pick them up at any dealer or auto parts store that has a/c parts. Don't go to a salvage yard anmd get a use one, you need to use a new one everytime you service the a/c system
