whats it worth

im thinking about reentering the dsm world. however i have been out for a while. so my question is simple whats the different gens (and sub gens if you differenciate the flip up lights and built in of the gen1) worth?

im not just looking for street value. i could look up nada, or blue book for that. i want personal worth. like personally i think the gen ones are gold, and worth more then early gen2s and dont get much better til late 90's. what about you guys?

The best answer is, IT DEPENDS. There are so many factors that go into the value and worth of a car, it is impossible for us to throw out numbers just based on generation. Show us a specific car and give us info on it, and we will tell you about what it's worth based on what you tell us.

the 90-91's had the flip up lights, 90-92 1/2 had 6-bolts, and they depend on value, you could find a decent one for about 1500-2000.

The 95-96 have a different body style than the 97-99 and can be anywhere from 3000-9000 depending again on the condition, trim and wether it's a gs/rs or gsx/gs-t.

there is one that tripped my trigger. im goin to look at it this week end. all i can tell you is its a 91 red 2.0 with origonal rims (based on the body kit i dont believe it has a turbo< but i could be wrong). i saw it at one of those off the highway kind of place. ill try to get you guys more details though... cuz even when i rtead it i can see my description is vague.

Yea like my car right now is worth 3000 on KBB.com and it has 161,000 miles but it runs rediculous. I still rip people apart with this car.

exactly, there are some cars out there that may have the look but dont run too well and others that look like crap but run awesome. its when you get those to combinations together a good car with a good motor are you golden.
