well i decided to take the time and wax my car, this was the first time id ever done it, and i wanted something that would last a long time, i ended up going with good ol fashioned Turtle wax.....and about 6 hours in a 2 day span later i ended up with this:
id like to just say that the car is still filthy, it is water spotted to heck from rinsing it off with the hose here at the house, the rims are dusted pretty bad, and its just not as clean as it could be, ill take more pics later when i REALLY wash it.

You'll have to move up with the big boys and use Mothers Car Care Products. You'll pay more, but get a lot more in return.

be careful using scratch removers that take off the UV gel coat. Once the UV coat is stripped off the paint will go fast. Lots of people make this mistake and it's very obvious when you see it. The paint will totally fade where the UV coating was stripped off.
You will know when you are cutting into the UV coating because you will get a soft rubber/plastic clear residue = little balls of clear rubber. Don't worry about getting scratches/tar out so much, just wax over them with a few coats of wax.
Armor-All the plastic piece under the doors for a glossy black look. I also do this to the top of the dash to protect it from UV fade.
