Bag91; This was a re-do paint job. It was previously painted and they forgot to do a final fine prep sand on the passenger side and i could see sanding scratches showing thru. The original cost to do it was $4200.00 the car was disassembled , painted , then reassembled. There are No Tape marks or seams. The shop was called Auto Collision Center, but for obvious reasons (cant follow instructions) they are no longer in business.
Kahjdh; While the battle was unpleasant, I would have to say it was definately worth it. I fianlly got what i paid for and wanted in the end & would have never been happy with it the way it was. I put all of my expectations in writing and went over it verbally with everyone there to be sure we were all on the same page and still they failed to follow instructions. It was a VERY costly mistake on their part when they had to re-do their work.
That reading thing catches a lot of people nowadays it seems.

Nice car man, looks real good sitting on that grass there. Not really digging the blue window tint though.
The tint is not really blue........its just the picture that makes it look that way. The tint is bubbled up some ,(been on there quite a while) already had to remove the rear hatch tint. - It has an appointment to be re-tinted on Monday next week . Im going to have them go as dark as is legal and having the rear done in one piece so there are no overlap seams.
After that....new Carpet & floor mats, headliner , visor, & sail panels, doorpanels, & leather on the seats. Not that the interior is in bad shape or anything - just want to upgrade to leather and want everything to color match perfecly.

Im staying with the original color scheme which is Medium Dark Grey - that way all of my trim panels will match .
Although i am considering having a darker grey or black inserts added in the 2 seat panels (lower back & butt) . Just cant decide if thats what i want or not.
One minute I think thats what I want and the next i'm thinking about staying with a solid color- decisions decisions.

On the inserts i'd go with perforated.. but if that isnt possible on them alone id go with all solid.

Im actually thinking about the orange because it does look nice..
But John, the reason I dont like the blue looking tint is because ive seen so many riced out cars with colored tint so I dont like it at all.. tint should be black, not green, yellow or blue or some other color..

i agree. there is no point in colored tint, other than making ur car look retarded. tint = black.

Thanks for the compliments!
The color is actually Medium Teal - It has blue & green pearl in it instead of metallic.
I love this color since it can give the appearance of blue or green and many shades in between depends on the light and what angle you look at it. In late evening before sunset she's Green , mid day she's Bright Blue and under the pink colored street lights it is Quazar Blue (1986 IROC color i used to have)
