I have a 96 2 door cav, i got the back 3 windows tinted and the back window has a hair, some small bubbles, and 3 or 4 lil lines in the tint that you can clearly see in the day time, i just got it looked at today and the guy said he couldnt guarantee it to be any better next time, he told me some shit about he might not be able to get all the residue from the tint glue off the back window, and some thing about inperfections in older windows.

i know he was kinda rushing it at the end there, he had already been tinting for almost an hour for those 2 lil ass windows, now he cant do it any better because of glue residue and window inperfections?

what should i do? i mean its some what bad, but i dont want him to redo it and then it be worse.

Call him an idiot. The glue comes off so easy it's not even funny. (tried tinting my own windows a time or two) Maybe he is not very good

get your money back...or have him do it over and over and over again till he gets it right (if its a quality business then it shouldnt b a problem) and if he dosnt wanna do it again tell him ul see him in court...they usually become extremly apologetic after u say that...lol

Usually dawn and water and a razor will take it off in 5 secs

This guy doesn't seem to be a professional. Besides, if they were so worried about future applications perhaps they should try the cling-on, easy removal type. Hit up Wal-Mart or Auto Zone, bet they'll have it.

yea, the tint job is getting worse, every day i look at it a few more lil bubbles keep on showing up.

i thought about just telling him to scrape it off and give me my money back for that back window, it looks really good on those 2 quarter panel windows but the back window looks like shit and its just getting worse.

i would just take it back and have him re-tint it but he said i would have to leave my car there, he wants me to bring it when they open (10am) and come back before closing (5 or 6pm) the place is kinda far, there is no busses and im not paying a taxi to take me out of state, to come home and then again to go back, and right when he wants me to do that im supposed to be at work.

oh and also another reason for me not making the appointment for him to re tint it, is because he openly said he cant guarantee a better tint job next time due to window imperfections and 'glue residue'.
