Bolt kit?

Hello. My brother is considering buying a 1992 Sonoma project truck from a friend of his. All it needs is some painting (has parts off already) and re-assembly. However, my brother's friend lost interest in the project after about six months and has since also lost all the bolts for the fenders.

Is there a bolt kit of somesort available from GM or aftermarket for all the fender bolts? Or would he be better off just going to a junkyard and stripping all the bolts off a dead truck there?

Thanks!

I'm not sure if there is "bolt kit" available, but a standard grade 5 / 9.9 or better HHCS with large fender washers should be adequate. Any good hardware store should be able to help you.

Hehe...I'm slow to reply. My brother's friend (who is selling the truck) actually found the bolts. His friend thought that he had them all in a coffee can that dissapeared when his dad cleaned out the shed that the truck has been stored in...but they re-appeared in a plastic bag under a pile of trim pieces in the front seat :)

Thanks for the ideas though, we'll probably have to get a few extra bolts anyway since I'm sure a few are missing...and I'm sure I'll post back some more with problems as we get our project truck put together since I'm more familiar with FWD cars than RWD trucks (note signature).
