What does everyone think?

I have a sony system all around, Door and rear Sony Xploid speakers and a Sony Deck, I have always bought either JVC or Pioneer! What does everyone think of Sony's products? Just need some input I am thinking about replacing the deck I have in the car to maybe a JVC, But I am also going to be running 2 12" Alpine E's, a Pioneer Amp. Any idea's or input is great!

Sony is junk.

Sony needs to work on their quality control.


I hope they bring back the ES-series' spirit because that was what Sony excelled at (for car audio).

Man i can tell you shop at walmart and best buy. Dont go pioneer except HU, sony nothing, and alpine type-s or type-r spend the extra cash and you will be happy in the long run. I usually recomend panasonic, they are great HU for the price go on ebay you can get awsome deals. My gf's was 218 shipped, circuit shitty wanted 450 for the same one. They are also loaded with features for the price. Look around for what you want and ebay is great to get mainstream stuff.

Sony speakers and head units are okay as long as you run the speakers off a non-sony amp. Guaranteed there are way better products, but you'll figure that out as you buy more and find what you like. I just think sony amps suck. And don't even think about powering speakers off a sony head unit. guhh.
