(4 Eagle talon Died and now won't start help!!

94 eagle talon es 2.0 liter DOHC. Was driving down highway and the car just died and won't start now. It trying to turn over but won't. A friend of mine sprayed car starter in it and it still would'nt fire up, he checked the spark plugs and those are good. anyone have any clues?

you might wanna check your timing belt!!! It sounds like your belt broke or jumped some teeth. Why it will not turn over is because i think it did fuck up timing and the valves are hitting the pistons. You might wanna try to turn it over by hand on the crank pully bolt to see if the is any resistance.

Did you check?? Hopefully it wasn't the timing belt. That would suck. good luck man.

I am having a fiend of mine come over and look at it and see if he can tell if its out of time. I am on disabilty and this is my teenager daughters car so I can't really afford to just take it to the shop. Just hope this friend knows what he's doing , I know its not broke but don't know if its out of time yet or even how to put it back in time if that is what it is. I don't know much about cars, But I know the fuel pump is good and getting spark from all four spark plugs and changed the oxygen sensor and it just won't start. Just hope I camn find someone to help fix it for me.
