I just got a quote from the shop of $1500 to replace my compressor/drier....apparently only Isuzu is making the parts anymore?!?

Any suggestions would be more than helpful, please!

Search around the internet for a decent price then buy the parts yourself.

You can save alot by doing the work yourself. Just take it somewhere to have the refrigerant recovered, then after you get done replacing it take it back to where you went to have the system evacuated (put in a vacuum) then recharged.

here is one place I found within a couple minutes of looking..

Just don't know if I trust a discount online parts store....and the junkyard is risky considering the seals and everything are probably dry as a bone on most compressors...
