I have a 1988 Celica convertible with a leak in the hydraulics for the convertible top. I cannot put the top up or down without using the power lift and the hydraulics leak. Is it possible to disconnect the hydraulics and just lift and lower the top manually. It does not weigh much and would probably be very easy to do manually. I just don't see what I have to disconnect to accomplish this.

There's a valve under the antenna motor .. that allows for manual lifting.
