My in-laws have an '01 Venture with the "Warner Bros." package... offered back when flip-down screens and movies in the car were RARE. :grinno: Does anyone know what FM frequency or frequencies are used for system's the wireless headphones? We're trying to get them to work with another portable DVD player (that transmits between FM 107.1 - 107.9), but the WB headphones only call their channels 'A' and 'B'. Anyone know? Thx -

I believe these are IR, not RF headphones. You have to have a line of site with the overhead module, and that is done to ensure the driver is not using the headphones, I guess.....Glen

Ah... well that makes sense I guess. I always wondered about that IR receiver above the screen, since there's no remote control. Thanks -

Actually, there is a remote control. My '03 Montanavision has a small remote that only works in the rear seat, so I assume it uses the same IR receiver.....what I wish I could figure out is a way to dim the screen. I thought it would dim with the dash lights, but unless my van is different, it apparently can't be dimmed.....hard on the kids eyes at night....take care, Glen

So am in understanding this correctly. I can go to Best Buy and buy an aftermarket IR headphone and the will work to replace the stock ones.
