97 Tib next move

Okay just spent quite a bit and now ready to put more on my car. I just got a new carbon fiber hood...pics will be up shortly....bought cross drilled rotors and performance pads....new antenna...sound deadened the entire car....painted the interior orange...pics of that also up shortly....got a pioneer amp and a alphine 12 and 10 inch sub...also added a pretty tight decal but nothing to major.... I will post pics shortly but was wondering what now I should do. If i go with trying to add performance I don't want to buy a turbo, supercharger or nitrous... to expensive right now and really don't want to do anything with the engine because I don't know a lot and don't want to be out of a car for awhile... Are the chips worthless and if so is there anything else I can do to upgrade the engine...I'm getting ready to take my car to the shop to get the transmission checked out having trouble with shifting is there anything I could have them do to increase the power while its there. Just a reminder im 19 and don't know a whole lot but am trying to increase my knowledge on cars. Thanks

hey dont get those chips you see on ebay, i bought one since they were only like 10 bucks on ebay. I heard bad things about them but i wanted to be sure. i installed one on my 98 tib, and ig ot like 100 miles less on each fill up of gas (i usually get 400 miles) and i didnt notice that much of a performance increase either. you'll maybe get 2-3 more horsepower gain. not worth

damn you get 400 miles on a full tank. How they hell do you do that. I have a 97 and get around 320 highway miles. And I was really talking about the ones from like www.turbonetics.com that are 59.99 a piece and says you can put 3 in and increase hp and miles per gallon. But I'll take your word for it. Thank man
