Tick Tick Tick Tick Problem Help

This annoying problem just started...
When I start the car I hear tick tick tick with idling, when I rev the engine the TICK TICK TICK increases with rev...
Sometimes the tick tick tick stops... But it will kick back in...
This is an annoying noise coming from under my hood...
Could it be the spark plugs?
anyone have any problem like this?

lifter tick.
to make sure it's not rod knock, unplug one spark plug one at a time while it's running, if the sound goes away, that cylinder has a big problem
95% sure it's lifter tick though, completely normal, fixable by replacing with 2g lifters, or just ignore it.

well I will check that tommorow afternoon,
what exactly is a lifter tick, how do i fix it?

he already told you, lifter tick is normal, you can fix it by replacing a 3g lifter ( 3g not mean third gen eclipse , it just a new lifter ). Aim me Hoangde972 I will send you a clip of lifter sound like, and compare that to your car.

I hear lifter tick is like a higher pitched click while rod knock is a lower ping kinda sound. Lifter tick is horribly common, nothing serious.

yeah rod knock doesn't really sound anything like lifter tick. Rod knock would sound more like a bang than a tick.

Ok, Ok but my question is what is the part its self, the lifter? Where do I obtain the part? How hard is it to fix?
It is a light tick sound and not a clank I doubt its anything serious.

Rod knock will sound more like someone taking two boards and banging them together really fast.
