95 Aurora and have a miss problem, getting worse and starting to idle rough.

From all the posts it sounds like I should start with plugs and wires. What's the P/N for the NKG plugs? Whats the price difference in AC Delco and NKG.
Fuel Filter...Where is it?
Should I use never seize on the plugs? and a silicon jell on the plug to wire connection?

Tks..

Yup - get the basics done first -

Only use OEM - AC Delco plugs and ABSOLUTLY be sure to use never-seize

Wires are up to you - lots of positions on wires but IMO the LIFETIME waranty wires from AutoZone are fine. they replace them for free and for no reason too.

Fuel filter is located under the car below the driver's side rear passenger. Use never-sieze on the fitting here too.

Be sure to complete the tune-up with a new PCV valve and air filter.

One final thing you should do is to clean the throttle body. Check this link At the Aurora Club of North America for the procedure. http://aurorah.proboards47.com/index.cgi?board=1stgen&action=display&thread=1121714117

Replaced the plugs and wires with AC DELCO. What a difference. All the bucking, hesitation went away. Runs great. :iceslolan Who ever designed the mounting of the coil pack, wow. Well it's back on but with the two front bolts only.
Just for grins I called the Olds dealer and asked how much the job would be and the quote was $525.00. :screwy: WOW. He did say it was labor intensive. Parts cost me $165.00---that leaves $360.00 labor Gee I didn't know what I was doing and it took me 3 hrs. And that was doing one wire at a time. I guess I'm in the wrong business..lol.
