UPS on the way...

I know I am not one of the big posters on this forum, but I am happy. :D My car is going into the shop the first week of October. My Z3 fenders, big mouth body kit w/ fangs, along with some other "goodies" are on their way. Hope to have everything by then. But unfortunately I have not officially decided on a color to paint the car yet. I am seriously considering Frosty Irish Pearl, or Viper Blue. Hope to post some pics once it is finally complete.
I would post some of my car now, but I don't like them.

I got my lip kit sitting in my room...my car is waiting to go into the shop...doing some custom work on the trunk also :D

I just got me Tein "SS" suspension dampers installed today, quite nice to say the least, I'm GLAD to finally be low to the ground, rather than a dang 4x4. :D

Maybe you can help me. I can't decide wheather I want to cut my springs, or get coilovers (I actually have a set in my room right now).
What should I do?

i really dont suggest cutting your springs, my friend did it to his acura and it totally fucked up his shocks and everything...had to replace it all

I'm not quite that dumb :D I know that the car would ride like crap and all that. I mainly wanted to see what kind of reaction that I could get from everyone. I am just gonna go with coilovers. And get some better shocks. I thought about getting the ones that you have...

Not only would it ride like crap - cutting springs is dangerous as it severely changes the spring rates. PLus it's about as ghetto as you can get.

Whoa, that's about as bad as doing neutral drops to burnout. ;)

What coilovers do you have sitting there? And which were you refering to that you were thinking of getting?

If the ones you have right now are coilover sleeves, I highly recommend you get either KYB AGX shocks, or Koni Yellows.

But if you can, sell the ones you have if they are the sleeve type, and get some like I got. ;) Believe me when I say you won't be dissapointed, I sure wasn't! :cool: In all honesty, I don't think I could have made a better decission on what suspension I got.

thats why i liked my buddy club.. IT DIDNT LOOK LIKE IT WAS GUNNA EAT ME!

BTW.. UPS SUX...and be careful with body shops.. very careful.... make a detailed list and keep a copy..

ricergurl- The body shop that is doing all of the work is owned by my friends father. So I am getting a very good/cheap deal. As for the Big Mouth w/fangs no one has them around here. So I want to be different.

SilverY2KCivic- I have a set of Neuspeed coils. I was considering getting the Tein suspension dampers. I guess the ones that you have...

VTEC_boi- Personally I hate altezzas. I am planing on buying a set of clears to go on my car. But I bought the covers for now.

CivSiGuy-I guess I forgot to mention the engine that is being "dropped in" during the body work... :D Can we say "SPOON":eek:

And speaking of a color for my car, I have finally picked a flip-flop pearl. A flip between metallic blue, and metallic purple.

I got my Z3 fenders and my fangs yesterday. Still waiting on body kit, and my euro tail lights. Hopefully they will come some time this week. I am counting the days until it goes in to the shop to get "done."

And I need some help. I plan on getting the interior done in black and blue vinyl. But I was considering having either a chinese symbol or the honda emblem emblem stitched into the seats and doors. Which sounds better?

Can't wait to see pics! IMO, I think it would look sweeet with the Honda emblem stitched into your interior. Chinese emblems look cool, but it'll get old fast.

anyway civicgurl what kinda neuspeeds do ya have? You like em? I am trying to replace my stock springs... one of em busted (check out springs piss me off post)... and have been thinking about getting neuspeeds.

I just bought my altezzas on Saturday. I had planned on going clear, but decided against it. But don't worry as soon as my car is outta the paint shop... (actually I will take pics during the process). There will pics posted here, I will even put before and after just to shop how crappy the paint looks right now :( Be watching because around the middle of October. There will be a thread intitled... My "new" car
